From the 1990's archives, cooked up in a Gold Coast subterranean studio, a collaborative project that started as a bit of fun and developed into a science fiction styled Electronica track that later spawned two club remixes. "It was just me and my friend Peter Kent having a bit of fun in the studio, something really not serious. We pulled a few samples from old space recordings made in the late 1960's and recorded the vocal samples on an old tape based answering machine in an attempt to add some realism to the supposed NASA transmissions".

Mandelray was in its infancy, still finding its own identity, but then like now, it was always a series of experimentations and often collaborations with other like minded artists.
